While normal people walk onto a sandy beach and immediately sink into the ground or flop around like they’re wearing flippers, others own it like it’s their personal runway. Take our good friends David Hasselhoff and Pamela Anderson. Their sand escapades from Baywatch are practically legendary. But Beach Dash Chicago brings the true grit and grind with an obstacle course that will have you diving, ducking, jumping and leaping while trying to overcome the sandy beach and crashing waves. Obstacles include a giant beach ball pen and flaming coals to name a few, but that’s all we’ll say so you don’t go creating a mock course in your alleyway for practice. You’ll race with people in your specific age division and once you reach the finish line, you'll will be showered with gifts, including a pineapple hat (need we say more) and a beach bash with live music and a complimentary Leinenkugel Summer Shandy.
